Halter Show
Alpacas must be registered in the name of the current owner as listed on the ARI Registration Certificate. Pending Certificates will not be allowed. A "Buyer's Permission to Show" form, signed by the owner as listed on the ARI Certificate must be submitted, if applicable. The ARI "Permission to Show" form will be made available to you when you register.

In order to facilitate fewer class changes at check-in, exhibitors are urged to compare their alpaca's fleece at mid-side and closest to the skin to the ARI color chart and the current AOBA Show Division Handbook color definitions. Please choose the correct class number from the class listing.

Halter Show Substitutions
Substitutions will only be allowed for verified medical emergencies after February 22nd deadline - A fee of 20.00 will be assessed for substitutions. Contact Kim Tollers, show superintendent at info@alpacaplanet.com to discuss halter show substitutions.

Get of Sire, Produce of Dam, Breeders Best Group of Three & Bred and Owned Yearling
Entries for all optional halter classes will be accepted until the end of check-in on Friday, March 28, 2008. No entries will be accepted on Saturday.

Check-in
Check-in is Friday, March 28th from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. You will be required to provide a copy of your CVI at check-in that will remain on file with the show Superintendent. Owners will retain the original CVI. All alpacas must be color checked by 7:00 p.m.

Stall Information
Stalls and farm store displays are 10'x10' on concrete floor and run $145.00 each. Electricity is included with every stall at no additional charge. Adjustment will not be made to stall pricing regardless if you use electricity or not. Stock Terra bedding will be provided for each animal stall. This type bedding is highly absorbent, corrugated bedding that has minimal dust and does not adhere to fiber. We suggest plastic mats over terra bedding. There is a limit of six stalls total per farm, only three animals per stall (includes cria), and no more than one stall can be used for a farm display.

Fire code prohibits farm displays, fans, chairs, etc. in the aisles. The E*Plex does not allow coffeepots or other appliances in stall areas.

Stall Mats
The show committee has negotiated a special preorder price for new mats at $35 each. Mats are 9' X 9'. If you wish to purchase and have them waiting for you at your stall, simply fill out the appropriate line during the registration process.

Sharing Stalls
If you wish to share stalling with another farm, or be placed next to a specific farm, both farms MUST make this request during online registration. No stalling changes will be made at check-in.

Handcrafters Spin-off registration
The Handcrafters Spin-off registration is now closed.

Please plan to register your fleece through the online process. You can register online for the Fleece Show. Note: The tags will automatically be completed with the information you submit on the online registration. Print your completed entry tags from the registration site.
