Calling all Spinners and Fiber
Artists!
New this year to the MOPACA Invitational Alpaca
Show is the Fiber Art and Handspun Skein Competition!
This is your chance to show off the possibilities
of combining luxurious alpaca fiber with your creativity
as our industry's talented fiber artists and spinners.
Rose Ann Knoblock of Knoblock's Prairie
Ranch, Sabetha, KS will be our judge for the
fiber arts competition. Rose Ann and her family
have been raising alpacas since 1984 and she has
focused her expertise in textiles and alpaca fiber.
Sally
Brandon, owner of The Shepherds Mill,
Phillipsburg, KS will be our judge for the Skein
competition. The Shepherds Mill has received rave
reviews from alpaca owners all over the country
as they transform raw fleece into luxury yarn.
MOPACA
is pleased to offer this competition. We welcome
entries from both AOBA members and non-members and
hope to showcase talent from alpaca lovers across
the country!
