We will explore other lesser known breeds and discuss the pros and cons of each and their best uses for them spending time spinning and felting with them to see if we might develop a “new” fleece we love to spin or felt. We will look into breeds as Wensleydale, Cotswold, Karakul, CVM and others. If you have a type of wool that you would like to try, please let me know and I will try and procure it if there’s enough time before the class. Bring your spinning wheel- there will time to spin some of these up. If you don’t have one, you can still enjoy learning about these breeds.
