  • Members may place a farm event listing on the website calendar at no cost. As well as place a listing on our facebook page and have an e blast sent to other members, regarding the event.
  • The website has a direct link on Alpaca Owner’s Association website, as well as links to many other web resources. Alpaca Owner’s Association is the United States’ national association.
  • Members receive FREE quarterly MOPACA Newsletters via email that are filled with husbandry hints, news from member farms, ideas for marketing products, and other alpaca related information. This is also published on the website.
  • Members have the opportunity to attend Fiber U, an event focused on the fiber side of alpacas, including education, hands on classes and demonstrations.
  • Members have access to a FREE web based classroom for camelid education videos through Kansas State University
  • Members make new friends and keep up with the industry through interaction with other MOPACA members at meetings, seminars, and our annual show. Weaving demo
  • Members are listed in the directory of the annual MOPACA Invitational Alpaca Show (MIAS) book.
  • Members receive discounts on show sponsorships and advertisements in the annual MIAS book.
  • Members are entitled to place an item in our annual show bag for FREE! The bag is distributed to show exhibitors.
  • Members are entitled to attend seminars by regionally and nationally recognized experts on many alpaca related topics, at reduced cost on registration fees.
  • Members receive opportunities to promote alpacas, fiber and products.
  • Members are asked to take the opportunity to volunteer with MOPACA and receive hands on experience with how our industry operates, while gaining increased alpaca knowledge. 
  • Members may run for the MOPACA Board of Directors and officer positions, giving you the opportunity to be apart of our leadership and make a difference in our organization, while helping to steer the direction of our industry .
